Former AFL player Josh Gibson has sold his Edwardian home in Melbourne’s Elwood in a private deal, six years after purchasing the pad.

According to the Herald Sun, the sports star, 36, sold the property for between $1.6 and $1.7million, but the exact price remains a mystery.

The AFL champion reportedly made a $300,000 profit, after purchasing the home in 2014 for $1.3million, shortly before his sports team, Hawthorn Football Club won the premiership.
