Tam David-West, Former Petroleum Minister, dies at age 83

Hat David-West, Ex Minister of Petroleum, has kicked the bucket at age 83-years.

As indicated by him, David-West who was the previous Commissioner of Education in the old Rivers State, Minister of Petroleum and Energy under his military system, and Minister of Mines, Power and Steel under Gen. Ibrahim Babangida system, “had an unstoppable soul and stood unflinchingly by whatever he put stock in, and was in his very own class as a scholarly, writer of numerous books, and social pundit.

The President sympathized with the David-West family, the individuals of Buguma, Kalabari Kingdom of Rivers State, the scholarly community, and each one of the individuals who adored “the direct Tam David-West.”

He asked that God will rest the spirit of the ”submitted patriot”, asking each one of the individuals who have faith in the standards he upheld to pursue his model to benefit Nigeria and humankind all in all.
