Callum Hudson-Odoi signs new long-term deal at Chelsea

Callum Hudson-Odoi has become one of the world’s best-paid teenagers after signing a new £50million contract.

As Sportsmail first revealed on July 24, the 18-year-old has agreed to stay at Stamford Bridge for the next five years – in a deal worth a money-spinning £180,000-per-week, rising to £200,000.

The new contract makes Hudson-Odoi one of the paid footballers under 20 on the planet.

Hudson-Odoi is on the verge of making a come-back after recovering from the Achilles tendon injury that has kept him sidelined since April. Taking to the club website he said;

‘It’s an amazing feeling. It’s been a long wait but it’s done now and I’m really happy about that. I’ve been a Chelsea player since I was eight and this is the right club for me to be at.

‘I want to lift as many trophies as possible, win as many games as possible and contribute to as many goals as I can as well. As a team, we just want to work hard to achieve the best results we can. I’m delighted everything has been agreed and now I’m just looking forward to properly getting back.’
