Second batch of Nigerians arrive from South Africa

The second batch of Nigerians that opted for evacuation from South Africa over xenophobic attacks has arrived in Nigeria after embarking on the journey by 3:00 pm on Wednesday, September 18.

The 314 returnees and the Head of Immigration and Consular Matters at Nigeria’s Consulate General in Johannesburg, Mr. Anthony Ogbe arrived at the Murtala Muhammed International Airport around 7:20 pm.

The South Africa returnees are currently being profiled by immigration.
