Tension as herdsmen invade FUTO in Imo State

The administration of Federal University of Technology, Owerri, FUTO, has raised the alert over herdsmen, cattle invasion in the school.

Talking solely to Vanguard on Tuesday, the Registrar, Mr. John Nnabuihe, thought about whether herdsmen need to transform the grounds into a brushing zone.

He reminded the Cattle Owners Association Chairman that administration disallowed the gathering from eating on college terrains and environs.

“The delicate idea of brushing on grounds and the undeniable pressure it breeds among understudies, may at last lead to conflicts, if not controlled. This is given the current unstable security difficulties related with open brushing”, Nnabuihe said.
