Instagram influencer, Mikaela Testa, reveals she makes almost $13,000 a month selling pornographic images

A social media ‘influencer’ who went on an extraordinary rant slamming Instagram’s ‘like’ ban reportedly makes $12,895 a month from her pornographic photos.

Mikaela Testa, from Melbourne, revealed the hefty income she pulls in from posting raunchy images to online subscription service OnlyFans.

The 19-year-old copped a public backlash after posting her tearful video this week, with Australians telling her to ‘get a real job’.

Ms. Testa told news.com.au that the ‘like’ ban has hit her ‘business’ hard as Instagram is the main way she advertises her Only Fans account to almost 50,000 followers.

‘I run my own business, it’s a subscription website where I share provocative and raunchy photos and it makes me easy money,’ she said.

‘Instagram is what I use for advertising, I’ve only been doing it for five months, I’m very new to the job, but I’ve made $US45,000 ($A64,471) since I started.’

She said her online dummy spit was fuelled by fears her income could be put at risk due to Instagram no longer showing the number of likes a post receives.

She said she has put her ‘blood, sweat and tears’ into her online presence and ‘every brand and business’ she knows is suffering.

‘I have to do a lot of things like marketing, finding ways to get my page out and promotions. It’s not the hardest job in the world, I’ve never said it is, it’s pretty easy actually. But it is a job,’ she said.

‘Those people making the comments, they just think working hard means being in the hot sun. But I work hard every day, just because it’s not physical labor, doesn’t mean it’s not hard work. You work to get money. And I work hard.’

The former barmaid said she was emotional when posting her tearful video to her followers on Monday, saying the number of hate comments took their toll on her.

‘If you think this is OK you can f*** off, it’s actually a sad day for those who have Instagram as a job,’ she said in a Facebook post.

‘Regardless of what you may think Instagram is a REAL job and those in the industry have worked hard to get where they’re at.

‘It’s people that aren’t even in the industry that think it’s a f***ing joke. It’s not, it’s real damage out here.’

She said she reads every comment and direct message, even when they are nasty.

‘I just wanted you guys to know the things you say to me really do effect me,’ she said.
