12 die in Virginia Beach shooting

Twelve individuals reportedly died, including the presumed shooter, after a shooting happened at the Virginia Beach Municipal Center on Friday evening, as per police.

Six extra unfortunate casualties were taken to the medical clinic with wounds, Virginia Beach Police Chief James Cervera told journalists amid a public interview Friday evening. A crisis administrations representative would not remark on the state of the harmed unfortunate casualties.

One of the harmed exploited people is a Virginia Beach Police officer who was spared by his impenetrable vest, Cervera said.

The suspect, who was a present representative at the Municipal Center, strolled into the structure at around 4 p.m. Furthermore, started to “aimlessly fire upon every one of the people in question,” Cervera said.

Reacting officers at that point entered the structure and verified the same number of exploited people as they could, Cervera said. The presume drew in the officers, who returned flame, striking and executing him, Cervera said.

The shooting happened on various floors, Cervera said. The suspect has not yet been recognized.
